Welcome to Sugarland, Southern Wisconsin’s most enchanting garden wedding site. Situated on 80 secluded acres the venue includes a lovingly restored farm house, a quaint country cottage and a one of a kind authentic Wisconsin Barn. The beautifully landscaped property has a cascading fountain and a meandering stream, nestled in a magnificent grove of mature tall oak and pine trees. A unique setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners as well as corporate events.

Situated in a major southern Wisconsin tourism area, Sugarland is close to the Wisconsin River and only 25 minutes from Madison and 10 minutes from Spring Green home of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin, American Player’s Theater, and House on the Rock.

Imagine arriving along a tree-lined drive to a 19th Century country estate with verdant meadows and gardens – perfect for your wedding photographs. I cannot imagine our wedding anywhere but Sugarland. It was perfect, from beginning to end. Nancy was great to work with throughout the process, and even better the day of the wedding. She helped make the day go smoothly, and was able to accommodate every request without hesitation. The setting is so quiet and beautiful, yet close enough to Middleton and Madison to accommodate guests from both in and out of town. It rained on our wedding day, but the barn is so gorgeous that it really didn’t matter. We had so many positive comments about the setup, the staff, and the food!! The Old Feed Mill doesn’t have many bad options, but everyone loved the pot roast!

We also opted for the all-inclusive package that allowed us to stay at the farmhouse and cottage for 2 nights. We highly recommend this – it provided perfect a space for the bridal party to stay so no one had to drive, and an awesome place to wake up the morning of the wedding, watch sunrise, go for a run, and have a relaxing morning getting ready for the wedding. This is the perfect venue for a wedding, highly recommended! Thank you, Nancy, for everything!

I cannot say enough on how amazing this venue was! We rented the property for the weekend and it could not have been better. The ease of having all Friday to set up, having our rehearsal dinner on site and getting ready there the morning of was amazing! Big shout out to Nancywho helped make my wedding a stress free event! They have a beautiful old oak tree to get married under (perfect with or without leave on it)and a beautifully restored barn with high ceilings and handmade chandeliers.
